Bön In Dolpo, explores the story of the ancient Zhang Zhung kingdom and Bön traditions, persisting for centuries in Dolpo where texts and oral teachings continue in an unbroken lineage from ancient times to present day. With the help of Geshe Nyima Kunchap of Dolpo we investigate traditional Tibetan Medicine and other Bön practices in relation to Dolpo’s ancient sacred sites. We will explore how local schools and the work of Lopon Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche at Triten Norbutse Monastery (Kathmandu) are helping preserve Bön and Tibetan culture outside Tibet.
