Filmmaker of the Month • February • Lance Tracy Seattle-Native, LA-based Lance Tracy is a strong producer-writer-director with an incredible knack to mix commercial ideas with quality people and will be highlighted this month for his impressive achievements. In September 2016 his narrative feature, "Relentless" won “Best Thriller” and “Best Director” at its Breckenridge Film Festival world premiere.  Sundance deemed his last documentary “an accomplished film”.

Filmmaker of the Month • December • Christine Weatherup Born and raised in Los Angeles and has been acting professionally since she was a teenager. She graduated from USC, where she triple majored in Cinematic Arts, Theatre & Political Science. Recently, Christine starred in the award-winning indie feature Bread and Butter, opposite Bobby Moynihan (SNL), Micah Hauptman and Lauren Lapkus.

July's filmmaker of the month is Michelle Bauer Carpenter who's an Associate Professor of Digital Design in the College of Arts & Media at the University of Colorado Denver. Carpenter has produced, directed and edited award winning experimental and documentary films.
