Town of Breckenridge
The Town of Breckenridge allocates a portion of taxpayer dollars to fund nonprofit organizations with programs, initiatives and events that are aligned with our strategies and that demonstrate how they can make an impact for our community. The Town’s grant process was created as a means to fairly, equitably and consistently provide funding and in-kind services to the community. Those supported in the grants process are charitable organizations that enhance and serve the Breckenridge/Upper Blue area through a Grant Application Program.
Grants are awarded once a year to agencies providing programs, service and/or events in the areas of health and human service, art and culture, education, environment and sports. The Breck Film Fest is a proud recipient of the Town’s grant support.

Because health isn’t an industry. It’s a cause.
Kaiser Permanente was founded on the radically simple idea that everyone deserves the chance to live a healthy life. That’s why you can find high-quality care and coverage in one place.
As a member, you’re at the center of everything we do — from pioneering new ways to treat cancer to building useful tools that make it easier to stay on top of your health.
We’re all in this together. And together, we thrive.
Kaiser Permanente provides strategic support for the Breck Film Fest’s year-round programming, supporting health and thriving communities through the arts. We are proud to work with Kaiser Permanente in Summit County.
Breckenridge Creative Arts
Breckenridge Creative Arts (BCA)—or BreckCreate for short—was developed by the Town of Breckenridge to support and promote arts, culture and creative experiences throughout Breckenridge. This multidisciplinary nonprofit organization is responsible for the successful management of a series of programs, properties and partnerships that collectively animate and populate a cultural corridor in the heart of downtown Breckenridge.
Colorado Creative Industries
“Colorado Creates” is Colorado Creative Industries’ largest grant program. This award provides financial support to help nonprofit arts organizations and communities produce arts and cultural activities, bringing jobs to their communities and enhancing the quality of life.
Colorado Creates Grants stimulate creativity and support arts and cultural activities statewide by providing:
· Access to grants that leverage other funds and provide a seal of excellence
· Support for existing arts and cultural events, and venues and arts education activities
· Support in as many communities as possible
· Access to general operating support
Colorado Creates Grants are given annually on a competitive basis. Proposals are reviewed by panels based on three review criteria:
· Artistic excellence and merit of proposed activities
· Community involvement and benefit from proposed activities
· Implementation capacity, such as effective planning, management, and budgeting of the organization and the project.
Breck Film Fest is proud to have received the “Colorado Creates” grant for the 2016 and 2017 festivals.
