Ticketing FAQS

NOTE: THE RIVERWALK TICKET OFFICE AND THE WELCOME CENTER ARE ONLY TICKET SELLERS.  PLEASE REFER TO OUR WEBSITE FOR COMPLETE PROGRAMMING INFORMATION.

When do Passes and Tickets go on sale?

Passes are available now online at breckcreate.org and single tickets will be available on September 1st.

How do I purchase Passes/Tickets? We partner with The Town of Breckenridge for ticketing.

Follow these instructions for easiest route to purchasing:
To buy online:

  1. View films on our Festival Schedule page. The BreckCreate website and Riverwalk Center Ticket office does not provide specifics on programming.
  2. Make notes as to the name of session/screening you want to buy tickets for.
  3. If you are buying a single ticket, you can link directly from out Festival Schedule page to the specific ticket.
  4. If you are buying for more than one session or screening, click HERE for full ticket listing.  This link is also posted on the top of our Festival Schedule page.
  5. At the checkout screen, you will be asked which “delivery method” you prefer.  We recommend you choose eticket for single tickets. If you are buying passes, you will need to choose either location listed for pickup. Be sure to check hours, listed below.

During the festival, you can walk up and buy tickets at the locations listed below , or (if seats are available) at the venue before screening.

Riverwalk Ticket Office
Walk up ticket and festival pass purchases: To best access the Riverwalk Center Ticket Office, approach the Riverwalk Center from Park Avenue. The main entrance is located across from 4 o’clock Road. Parking is available in the Riverwalk Center lot located off of Park Avenue.

Do I need to purchase in advance?

We recommend buying in advance in case of sell-out. For free programming, first come first serve, no ticket needed.

Can I buy a ticket to see just one film that is being screened within a block of films?

Our films are organized by block, so each individual screening ticket buys you access to the entire block of films.

Can I reserve specific seats?

No, we use open seating. Arrive early for best seating.

Where can I pick up my passes/single screening tickets?

When you purchase online, make your selection as to your “delivery method” to receive your pass/ticket.

PASSES: Your options are to pick up Peak 10, Peak 9, and day passes at either Riverwalk Ticket Office or Old Masonic Hall. Locations are at top of this page.  Remember to present your email receipt at pickup location.

SINGLE TICKETS: To save you time, we recommend you select  pdf eticket for “delivery method”.   Choose this method (BEST WAY) and print or bring your phone directly to venue door (available for single tickets only).

 

What is refund policy?

We have a no refund policy.

I bought a Peak 9 or Peak 10 pass – when do I need to arrive?

PASSHOLDERS SHOULD ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO SHOWTIME to take advantage of available priority seating. At 15 minutes prior to showtime, pre-purchased general admission ticket holders and Day Pass holders will be admitted. If available, at the door tickets will go on sale at 10 minutes prior to showtime. Once General Admission tickets have gone on sale, passholders will no longer have priority admittance and will be admitted as space allows. All theater seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

I bought a Day Pass, when do I need to arrive?

Arrive 15 minutes prior to start time for best seating.

I bought a single ticket, when do I need to arrive?

Arrive 15 minutes prior to start time for best seating.

Are there ID requirements to enter the event?

Yes, if you buy an ID required ticket.

Are there any age limits to enter the event?

No. Please be advised some events are not for children. See film description for details.

What are “special screenings?”

These are Opening Night, Adventure Reel, Red Carpet Reel, Community Screening.

What are the wristbands for?

Day Passholders will wear different colored wristbands for each day of the festival. Day Passholders are encouraged to arrive early and  present the wristband.  Day passholders are not guarenteed entry, but may line up with Peak 9 & 10 Passholders.
